Corsages
The history of corsages can be traced back to ancient Greece, where people wore small bunches of fragrant flowers and herbs to ward off evil spirits and symbolize good luck. Brides would traditionally carry bouquets or pin flowers to their bodies, and grooms began to participate in the trend in the late 16th century. The word "corsage" comes from the French phrase bouquet de corsage, which translates to "bouquet of the bodice"
